Players learn about local history, acting as a time travel tour guide. Their goal is to put together the most interesting and significant tour from the past.
Types of Cards
Place & Event Cards
These include important historic events, businesses, places, landmarks, infrastructure and other things that time travelers would want to see on your tour of a city. You bid against the other three tour guides for the exclusive rights to showcase these things on your tour, to attract the most time travelers.
People Cards
People Cards are attracted to the tour with the most things they like. Edgar Allen Poe likes the 1800s, Animals, Arts, Education, and Scary things. If he becomes a part of your tour, he attracts 9 other time travelers. He also adds a 1800s, Arts and Scary categories to your tour.
Special Cards
Special Cards can be game changers. The Giant Spider is bid on by the four tour directors, and the winner unleash devastation on another director’s tour. Some special cards affect all players. If you’re ahead, you may become a target for a card like this one. Lincoln’s tour may have to deal with the spider.
